Will likely need to replace existing c section, and add replacement supports. Existing structure must be very unsafe.

Existing PFC

Beam - 150 x 60 x 2mm
Outer Columns - 75 x 200 x 2mm
Center south column - 150 x 60 x 2mm

This is going to be a large job, with the aim to increase the finished ceiling height to a little more than 2400 from the floor. And to increase the strength of the mezz so I don't need to stress about it for the next 20 years.

On the front side I'll need to reinforce the concrete footings under the shs (about a 500mm square). And the connections to the existing shed will need to be pfc bearing seats with bolted end cleats.



on the backside we'll not bother with additional shs supports but will use a reinforced plate in the middle. The back will use two ~3m pfc sections.




I'm likely going to need to do a bit of welding to get the end caps sorted.

The shs will have post caps and shoes.
