Cut ~70cm discs of geo fabric Place fabric around each plant Put mulch on the disc Cut chain-link into 900 mm × 2.3–2.4 m sections. * Cut each 1.8 m paling into 4 stakes ~900 × 48 × 16 mm. * Mark a 700 mm diameter circle around each tree. * Drive 3 stakes, ~300 mm into the ground. * Wrap mesh around stakes. * Tie mesh to stakes with galvanised wire. * Overlap mesh ends 100–150 mm and wire shut.
